SHAKESPEARE ALOUD

A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Act II, Scene 2 on Henley St in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.

Still cooking here – last scene to get in before my train back to London. Such a brilliant accident that I was able to get these scenes in on Henley St – bit of encouragement directly from the source, if you will.

In the play we’re heading directly into the mayhem for which it’s most famous – I will have to find a more stirring and wackadoodle atmosphere to complement that – but as far as set-up goes, what’s more perfect than Mr. Shakespeare’s actual launching pad??
