Henry VI part 2 – Act I, Scene 1 on the set of Merry Wives of Windsor

We’re still running the show here – I’ve decided to finally descend upon my daily brethren and expose them to Yorick.  So I read all of Act I here today – 90 minutes before curtain.

Without a doubt, Henry VI part 2 and Merry Wives are probably about as stark as you can get in terms of contrast.  Even Titus and Midsummer have more in common.  So I’m going to chalk this up to getting some healthy contrast on the day, and here we go, descending into the passionate minutiae of England’s bloodiest and most confusing Civil War!
