SHAKESPEARE ALOUD

Shrew Act V, Scene 1 – OCCUPY BOSTON

Just incredible.  This is the full length but I’ll have an edited one of the highlights separately.  I got several bonafide gems from spontaneous collaborators today, as well as some great sounds and sights of the protest march.  We cross some busy streets and you’ll see the cops are doing a great job – just helping foot traffic and cars avoid each other.  There are some quality signs, a conch shell trumpet, and amazingly, a complete rendition of Portia’s “The quality of mercy is not strained” speech from Merchant of Venice.  The same guy starts off with a Romeo and Juliet quote that will impress you as well.

I can say, maybe for the first time, that this is a 12 minute unedited section really worth watching.
