Emerging from a snake in Symphony Magazine

Last winter’s production of The Magic Flute at Symphony Hall in Boston – a collaboration between the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Youth Orchestras – was caught in Symphony Magazine this summer, the trade mag of note in the world of American classical music. March 30, 2014, for two performances, I played the Narrator in my own new adaptation of The Magic Flute, staged with singers, puppets, projections, and an orchestra in costume.  The photo below features Sampson, the giant snake.  All puppets designed and built by Kathleen Doyle, directed by myself, conductor Federico Cortese. This production is available for hire.
